Stopping The Flow Of Falsehood
For my final MCO 427 blog post, I was tasked with creating a social media post to help inform a target audience about a misinformation technique. I chose to do mine on the “fire hose of falsehood” and have created this Instagram photo carousel for young adults (18-24 years old) who frequently use social media for information. These graphics were made to get the viewers' attention and present the information in a quick and understandable manner. With social media becoming such an easily manipulated channel of information, it is important that the people who use it most have access to high-quality information so that, when they come across bad information, they are better equipped to respond to it.
